Book Character Design

I designed some of the books for the different sections though I don't think many of them were used.

For the music section (blue) I tried to give all of them headphones and/or note shaped bookmarks.

The children section (green) have all been based on how some cartoons portray dum kids which is what we wanted for the film based on what the script and animatic said.

The history section (red) had characters based on some of the more confrontational people of history; romans, spartans, hans and french revolutionaries

The romance section (pink) was based on some stereotypes often used in different romance media just to name a few; the rich heiress, the innocent young girl and the playboy who falls in love with the female hero and changes his ways.

The cooking section (yellow) was chosen to represent a meme so I inspired the books by Gordon Ramsey and the sandwich bread.

Finally the black and white drawing is me trying to draw the characters to fit the style Bobby was drawn in.
